Houses in the Lower Row of the Intermediate Terrace
This row of houses repeats a design adapted to the slope: the houses lean against the hillside’s rear wall and arrange their spaces towards the terrace.

The mills and other preserved features tell us about the tasks carried out in these houses. Loom weights were found in one of them: ceramic pieces with small perforations that helped keep the threads taut during weaving. This find adds another activity to those we have already seen: besides cooking and milling, textiles were made here. The reconstructed house helps us imagine the volume that the others have lost.
Its walls and roof allow us to relate the low remains you can see to lived-in spaces where people worked, stored their produce and organised their daily lives.
